Match Report
Abu Dhabi vs Dubai I
15 January 2010

The first quarter of the match was dominated by Abu Dhabi who raced to a 15-0 lead, scoring 2 tries, conversion and penalty.  Doha soon regrouped and fought back to stem the flow of points and gradually coming into the game, and for the rest of the game the honors were shared.  Both teams missed penalty opportunities. The teams went in at half time with the score remaining at 15-0.

Doha started the second half strongly and each team converted a penalty to make the score 18 - 3.  Doha's pressure was starting to tell and the Abu Dhabi number 8 was yellow carded for a blatant off the ball tackle.  Four minutes later Doha scored a well worked try.  Despite some sustained pressure from the Doha team, and two missed penalties, there was no further scoring in the match.  Final score 18 - 10 to Abu Dhabi.

Hardest worker and best player - Angus Fraser.  Biggest Hit - Joseph Dharshan.

Magical Moment - Doha try: a well worked move through the backs to the wingers followed by great interchange of passing between backs and forwards to score under the posts.
