Doha RFC 2011 / 12 Membership Year
Doha RFC has now launched its new membership year 2011-2012. Membership runs from 1st July 2011 to 30th June 2012.
New Applicants
For new applicants there are 3 phases to our online application procedure
- Click on 'DRFC Membership Application' below and select 'New User'. You will need to create an online account on the DRFC site using your valid email address and a password of your choosing. Please keep these details safe; you will need them to login to your account to complete the application, make any future changes and for renewal next year. Once you have created your account the system will send a validation email to your email address. If you do not receive this email within 1 hour be sure to check your spam folder! Click on the link in the email to validate your account. You can now log in to the membership system to start your application.
- You are requested to complete the DRFC application form. You will need your Qatar ID number and the Qatar ID numbers for any family members on your application. There is a facility to upload photographs of each member as part of the application procedure. To reduce the chance of your application being rejected because of unsuitable photographs please read our online photo guide. Full membership applications are reserved for players, coaches and managers. There is a social membership option for all other applicants, including those who require membership to train with GAA or play touch rugby.
- Once your application has been submitted it will automatically be sent to the Membership Team for approval. If approved, you will receive an email inviting you to log in to your account and make an online non refundable payment with your credit card using a secure facility provided by Qatar’s Commercial Bank. Please note the system does not accept debit cards but credit cards only.
Once membership fee payment has been received, a message will be sent to you confirming when your membership card will be available and you will be an official member of DRFC. Until your membership card is available, please print out your confirmation e mail as proof of membership.
Previous Members of DRFC
If you have been a member of DRFC within the last two years you would have already created an account with DRFC. Click on 'DRFC Membership Application' below and select 'Returning User'. You should be able to log in to the membership system. There is an option to reset your password if you have forgotten it. If you have changed e mail addresses since the last time you logged on, you must log in using your old e mail address and password, then visit 'Members Resources' on the website in order to change it.
Existing members may renew during the month of June, otherwise they will be treated as new applicants as of 1st July.
Please note:
Please be aware that due to a large number of renewal memberships from last year, there will be a limit on the number of social memberships this year. Early application is advised and you may be placed on a waiting list.
The membership process may take anywhere between a few days and up to two weeks. All Executive Committee members perform their duties on a voluntary basis and have full time employment elsewhere. Please refrain from sending e mails to the membership secretary chasing up your membership application if it has been less than two weeks since you applied. Thank you.
