How can I join DRFC?

DRFC’s membership application procedure is all online. Firstly you need to create an online account with us and once it’s activated you can complete and submit the online application form. Visit http://www.doharfc.comto begin your application.

What membership type do I need?

If you or a member of your family wish to train and play rugby you will need a FULL membership. If you or your family wish to spectate only you will need either a MAROON or a SILVER membership.

What is the difference between a Full, Maroon and Silver Membership?

Maroon and Silver memberships are social memberships for spectators. The maroon membership is our basic membership for single individuals, the silver membership can be for single individuals or families and it comes with more benefits. Visit www.doharfc.com. To train and/or play a full membership is required.

Do I have to be a member of DRFC to gain entry?

You either have to be a member (with your DRFC membership card) or the guest of a member (with your passport or Qatar ID). Occasionally guest lists are permitted for certain events at DRFC, however passports and Qatar ID are still required.

I am in Doha temporarily, can I still become a member?

There is no temporary membership option for DRFC, however the basic Maroon membership was designed to incorporate those that may be here temporarily. Unfortunately DRFC will not refund any membership fee part-way through the season.

I have no Qatar ID, can I still become a member?

Yes, you can still become a member using your passport number instead of Qatar ID number.

What membership type do I need if my son/daughter wants to play rugby with the minis?

You will need a full with family membership. We do not offer individual child memberships.

What membership type do I need if I wish to train with GAA or touch rugby league?

To access the facilities for training with another club you will need maroon membership.

Can I upgrade my membership from a single to a family status?

Can I upgrade my membership from a maroon member to a silver member?

Before I join, can I have a look around the club and it’s facilities?

Absolutely. If you would like to meet someone to discuss your membership please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Visitors are welcome to look around on less busy nights, Sun-Weds. There should be someone in the administration office to answer any questions at that time.

Can you change the e mail address used to receive the newsletters?

Yes. You have an online account within the DRFC membership system on the website. Simply log in with your username and password and there is an option to change your e mail address.

Can I unsubscribe to the DRFC mailing list?

Yes. You have an online account within the DRFC membership system on the website. Simply log in with your username and password and untick the ‘mailing list’ box.

I’m a novice rugby player, would I be welcome at rugby training?

All levels of players are welcome at DRFC. The ladies and minis teams are used to having novice players attending their training sessions. The mens and vets teams are a little more competitive and in order to participate in competitive games some experience is an advantage.

Can I sign in guests to DRFC?

If you are a full or silver members you can sign in upto two guests. We ask our members NOT to leave their guests at DRFC without them being there. Maroon

I’ve lost something whilst at the club. How can I check if it’s been handed in?

If any item has been handed in it will be in the General Managers office. Normally low value items like clothing, shoes and paper are kept for 2 weeks and then disposed.
